8th September 2008 - Airetrak shortlisted for BCS IT Industry awards

Airetrak customer, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and their IT partner Carillion IT Services have been shortlisted for the BCS IT Industry Awards, Mobile Technology Award for their use of the Airetrak ResourceView solution. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde have deployed out WiFi tracking at The Royal Alexandra Hospital, where the system is already delivering benefits.

A variety of portable pieces of equipment have our WiFi tags attached, helping clinical staff to spend less time searching for items and allowing them to spend more time on patient care. Furthermore, technical staff are able to locate items when they are needed for planned preventative maintenance. This ensures items are serviced when they need to be, reducing the risk of faulty items being used clinically.
