Deployment

The Airetrak solution is software based and leverages existing WLAN 802.11 infrastructure. This ensures implementation time and cost are kept to a minimum and deployments can often be completed in a matter of hours. Airetrak offer a number of services around the deployment.

Technical consultation
Our technical consultants will help articulate your objectives to ensure a common understanding of the requirements of the solution. They will determine which assets require tagging and will survey your facility to determine existing WLAN coverage and existing Access Point location and density. They will then develop a deployment plan that fits with your expectations.

Installation
Our implementation team will be responsible for installing the Airetrak ResourceView application and configure it with the tag identification numbers and the physical assets to which they are associated. They will develop any interfaces required to existing systems and configure alerts to email and mobile devices. They will also work with the hospital IT staff to ensure the Wi-Fi tags are physically attached to assets. Additionally, they will set up the systems management functionality to enable monitoring, backups etc in line with hospital standards.

Training
Technology implementation success can often be defined by the level of acceptance by the user community. Airetrak will work closely with the users of the system to ensure they are fully up to speed with its operation and systems administrators on the administration and maintenance of the system. Good training will help ensure the system is fully understood and accepted by users.

Support and Maintenance
Airetrak believe their solution operation should be seamless and have developed unique proactive monitoring and systems management capabilities which maximise the availability of the system. Airetrak’s UK based Support and Development teams provide a responsive and personalised service to Airetrak customers and regular updates to the software as new functionality becomes available. The develop teams will also work closely with customers to specify new requirements and build them into the product.
