Effective integration with other organisation systems can be crucial to realising real value from a tracking solution. These systems can include, for example, asset management systems, security systems and access control systems.

Airetrak provides an extensive integration platform based on a unique Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) architecture. This standards based integration platform allows ResourceView to communicate with any application using a plug-in adapter which can be used over a variety of transport mechanisms.

The ESB functions as a transit system for carrying data between disparate applications & Services, providing a distributed & federated message-oriented architecture. As the core of SOA, the ESB provides connectivity to a wide range or reusable business services.

The ESB defines a series of endpoints through which applications can send or receive data onto or from the system. The bus then routes, transforms and manages messages between endpoints.
