Airetrak Wi-Fi Temperature Overview

The Airetrak Real Time Location System (RTLS) provides a sophisticated and highly featured Wi-Fi Temperature Monitoring solution. An intuitive web based interface allows the monitoring of multiple fridges, freezers or room temperatures from the ResourceView software solution.

The Airetrak temperature monitoring solution uses any standard 802.11 Wi-Fi Network to securely transmit the temperature information to the ResourceView server. This avoids the need for expensive cabling works to temperature sensors, both reducing the cost and also greatly speeding up the deployment of the solution.

Battery powered Wi-Fi Temperature Sensors are quickly and easily deployed, these units offer ranges from -200⁰C to +200⁰C via external temperature probes which can be placed inside the fridge, freezer or storage box being monitored. These units are truly mobile and can be used to monitor the temperature of blood or drug products in-transit. Sensors can be calibrated to 0.5⁰C thus ensuring highly accurate readings are taken.

Users of the ResourceView Wi-Fi Temperature Monitoring solution can see temperatures of all their fridges and freezers immediately with a simple traffic light indication for current status. Historical data is easily accessed and can be stored for up to 15 years if required.

Sophisticated automation means should a temperature go out of range Airetrak ResourceView will request action via email or SMS from designated staff. If appropriate action is not taken within required times then ResourceView will automatically escalate the issue to other team members or Managers. All actions taken are fully recorded and auditable in line with EU and MHRA guidelines.
